Open Link Monday

Welcome to our garden ...

Source: Favim.com

... where real toads like to hang out every Monday.

Our weekly Open Link provides all-comers with the opportunity to share a poem, either recent or something saved in the archives. There are no rules, just the simple stipulation to link up your original work, free from advertising your personal meme, and the encouragement to visit and comment on the work of other poets who use this space. There is no restriction on the poems you may have written and submitted to other sites as an individual prompt response. We would love the opportunity to see the results of your creative endeavors

Good morning toads and visitors.
These weeks: don't they just fly by. Let's make the most of this one.

I wrote this as pentametric blank verse late last night, and would love to know whether it would count as a prose poem? Critiques welcomed. :)

I am sharing a poem I wrote in 2008...from before I knew anything at all about the 'blogosphere' and would have hesitated to put my poems anywhere that the 'world' could see! Sometimes it is nice to look back.....

Sorry about the bad link. I don't know why that happened, but I apologize that I can't remove it.

I realize it is late in the day to link but I thought I'd throw this to the wind if any would like to read and if you do I'll be sure to return a read! Smiles!
